Golden Koi — Hand-Painted Automatic Watch

Golden Koi is an original one-of-one automatic watch from Instinct & Wonder — Chapter I.

Its hand-painted dial follows a red-and-gold koi rising through curling waves. Sweeping brushwork creates a circular sense of movement, while the black background intensifies the warm metallic colours of the fish and surrounding water.

The composition evokes perseverance, transformation and forward motion. Slim hands preserve the visibility of the koi’s body and the rhythm of the surrounding waves, while the integrated stainless-steel case gives the expressive artwork a clean contemporary frame.

This listing is for the exact finished watch shown in the photographs. The layered paint, visible brushwork and individual colour variations make it a unique wearable artwork.

Each watch is assembled to order in our Guangzhou studio.

Production normally takes 1–2 weeks after the selected options and any personalized artwork have been confirmed. A digital proof will be provided for approval when required.

Standard international delivery normally takes approximately 7–12 business days. Tracking information will be provided after dispatch.

Customers must have permission to use any logos, photographs, artwork or other materials submitted for customization. Changes requested after final approval may affect the production schedule and incur additional costs.

Every WatchModLab watch includes a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing and assembly defects under normal use.

The watch is rated to 5 ATM under test conditions and is suitable for rain, hand washing and occasional splashes. It is not intended for swimming, diving, showering, saunas or hot water. Always ensure that the crown is fully closed before the watch is exposed to water.

The warranty does not cover normal wear, cosmetic scratches, strap wear, impact damage, misuse, water damage caused by improper use, or repairs and modifications performed by third parties. Full warranty terms are supplied with the watch.
