From One Space Photo to a Fully Custom Watch

Sometimes, all it takes is a single image to inspire an entire watch.
Recently, one of our followers reached out with a simple request. He sent us a photo of Earth viewed from space and said:
"I want something cooler."
That single message became the starting point for one of our favorite custom builds.
Finding the Right Design
The moment we saw the image, we knew it had the potential to become an incredible watch dial. The vibrant blues of the oceans, the glowing atmosphere, and the dramatic sunlight created the perfect centerpiece for a unique timepiece.
Since the entire concept revolved around space, every other component needed to complement the dial rather than compete with it. Blue quickly became the obvious choice.

Designing Every Detail
One of the most enjoyable parts of this project was watching the customer build the watch himself. He spent nearly three hours experimenting with different combinations on our configurator before making his final decision.
After trying multiple options, he selected:
- A blue crystal bezel
- Blue hands
- Stainless steel case and bracelet
- Sapphire crystal
- Seiko NH35 automatic movement
Every component was chosen to enhance the colors of the dial while keeping the overall design balanced and wearable.

Once all of the components arrive, the real craftsmanship begins.
The dial is carefully installed. The hands are aligned with precision. The movement is secured inside the case. The case back is closed. Every detail is inspected before moving to the next step.

Testing Before Shipping
Every custom watch goes through quality control before leaving our workshop. Each piece is tested for:
